| Bio: | Elrond symbolizes throughout the ancient wisdom, and his House represents Lore - the preservation in reverent memory of all tradition concerning the good, wise, and beautiful. It is not a scene of action but of reflection. Thus it is a place visted on the way to all deeds, or 'adventures.' Letter 131, The Letters of JRR Tolkien I fell in love with Middle-earth in the fall of 2002 and found Elrond's house not long after. He is a gracious host, allowing me to visit as long as I wish and learn all that I may. I have done much reflection and little action, beyond that of the simple care and maintenance of home and hearth. I do not know what deed or adventure awaits me upon departure, whether I stay until the Gift of Men is accepted or some other adventure calls me away. Until then, I learn of the lore of this age as well as the lore of the age in which I live. Who am I? Just another pilgrim along the narrow Way. The path is normaly well lit, unless I turn my eyes from it. I have my Book to guide me, and Truth to follow. There is a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us and cheering us on, and the race is marked out for us. Come and join me? Note Sept 2006: Most posts will be friends locked for personal reasons.
